Lawn Fawn Mini Gingerbread Friends – Sweet Slider Card

Close-up of an interactive Mini Gingerbread Friends slider card with the gingerbread boy moving towards his friend to offer her a lollipop

The Lawn Fawn Winter 2026 Release is here, and all the new products are now available!

For today’s project, I’m featuring the adorable Mini Gingerbread Friends, Lawn Fawn’s special Gift with Purchase for the new release. I created an interactive slider card with a little gingerbread boy offering his friend a sweet treat – pull the tab and he moves across the card to hand her his lollipop!

I paired these two cuties with the new Charlie’s ABCs and lots of soft winter colours, sparkle and sugary details for a sweet little scene with a surprise.

About This Project

For today’s project, I’m featuring the adorable Mini Gingerbread Friends, Lawn Fawn’s special Gift with Purchase for the Winter 2026 Release! The set is available as a free gift with orders over $60 at lawnfawn.com (affiliate link), while supplies last.

I created a sweet little winter scene with the two gingerbread friends and added a handmade slider mechanism that lets the gingerbread boy move across the card to offer his lollipop to his friend. I’ll show you exactly how I built the mechanism in a written tutorial that you can find here.

For the background, I die-cut the Quilted Backdrop from white cardstock and layered it over Mist Cardstock, allowing the soft blue to peek through the little openings. I framed the scene with a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frame and added a snowy ground cut from Pixie Dust Sparkle Cardstock with Stitched Simple Wavy Borders.

I added a few extra details to the gingerbread friends as well. Their little buttons are matching gems and pearls from my stash, while the hair bow and bow tie were cut from patterned paper from the Favorite Flannel Collection Pack. I positioned the dies over striped sections of the plaid design so that only the stripes are visible, giving the bows a slightly fabric-like look.

The large SWEET on the moving panel was die-cut from Tide Pool Cardstock using the new Charlie’s ABCs, and I added Star Dust Stickles to the letters and the lollipop for a sugary sparkle. The coordinating banner was also cut from Tide Pool Cardstock using Simple Wavy Banners, with the sentiment from Henry’s Build-A-Sentiment: Winter white heat embossed on top.
