About Jennifer

Welcome to my little creative corner! I hope my cards, tutorials and crafty adventures inspire you to create something you'll love.

My name is Jennifer. I have a background in Chemistry, where I earned my PhD, and now work as a consultant. I live with my partner in the beautiful southwestern corner of Germany, close to both France and Luxembourg. We both love travelling, with Japan and the USA holding a special place in our hearts. But more often than not, inspiration comes from the little things in everyday life—a beautiful colour combination, an interesting pattern or a tiny detail that unexpectedly sparks a new idea.

Back home, my greatest creative passion is paper crafting. It all started many years ago with nothing more than a pen, a pair of scissors and a glue stick. Little by little I discovered new techniques, invested in my first die-cutting machine and eventually bought my very first branded stamp set.

One of those first purchases was Lawn Fawn's Critters in the Forest. That adorable little stamp set became the beginning of a collection that has continued to grow ever since. Today, Lawn Fawn products are still at the heart of many of my creations.

Projekt Cupcake actually started many years ago with two close friends. We all enjoyed different kinds of creative hobbies—one of them even made handmade soaps—so we wanted a name that felt playful and creative without focusing on just one craft. I suggested Projekt Cupcake simply because I loved how it sounded, and somehow the name stayed.

Looking back, I think my scientific background has shaped the way I approach paper crafting. I love understanding how things work, solving little design puzzles and figuring out the mechanics behind interactive cards.

Once I've figured out how a design works, I enjoy breaking the process down into clear, step-by-step tutorials so others can recreate it with confidence. If one of my projects encourages someone to try a new technique, create an interactive card or simply spend a happy afternoon crafting, then it has done exactly what I hoped it would.

I love soft pink colours, cute illustrations and playful designs. Interactive cards are my absolute favourites, and every project I share is created with the hope of inspiring others to create something that makes them smile.

I'm so glad you're here.

I hope my projects inspire you to create something that makes you smile, try a new technique or simply enjoy a little creative time. Thanks for stopping by!

Jennifer

Love,
Jennifer
