Hello crafty friends!
Welcome back to another day of the Lawn Fawn July Inspiration Week! Today’s theme is Birthday, and I created a sweet little gift box that’s just as fun to give as the present inside.
The adorable Strawberry Treat Box is already a beautiful design on its own, but I couldn’t resist adding a few extra details to make it look even more like a real strawberry. Little touches can completely change the look of a project, and that’s exactly what I enjoyed most about creating this one.
Let’s take a closer look!

I always enjoy adding those little finishing touches that make a project unique. Take a closer look and discover all the details that bring it to life.
About This Project
I created my little birthday gift box using the Strawberry Treat Box die and the pink paper from the Stripes ’n Sprinkles 6x6 Paper Pack. To make it look even more like a real strawberry, I added the stem from the Tiny Gift Box Jack-o’-Lantern Add-On set, attaching it with foam squares to only one side of the box. This leaves enough room to tie and untie the bow without damaging the decoration.
To close the box, I used Lime Green Hemp Twine. For an extra realistic touch, I lightly dampened the two loose ends of the twine, wrapped them around a wooden skewer and let them dry completely. This created the curly tendrils that give the strawberry a more natural look.
Finally, I added a matching tag using the strawberry from Fruit Tiny Tags and heat-embossed a birthday sentiment from Tiny Tag Sayings: Birthday in white. I think it’s the perfect finishing touch and makes the packaging feel even more special.
This little box comes together surprisingly quickly and is a lovely way to present sweets, gift vouchers or other small birthday surprises.
